Commercial pilot student at the controls over Indiana
CPL Commercial License · 8–14 Months
The Career Certificate

Precision flying, professional standards.

The commercial certificate is where good pilots become professionals. Every maneuver is flown to tighter tolerances, every decision weighed the way a paying passenger deserves. We train it the way airlines expect it — because our instructors have designed training programs for regional carriers.

  • Cross-country, complex, and night training flown to commercial standards
  • Career mentorship from career CFIs — airline, military, and charter backgrounds
  • Add-on CFI / CFII pathways so you can build hours while being paid to teach
  • VA / GI Bill accepted — ask for details at your visit
  • Typical completion in 8–14 months, full-time or part-time
Who This Path Serves

For pilots with a destination, across northern Indiana.

Our commercial students already hold a Private Pilot certificate and want the career — airlines, charter, corporate, or instruction. They come to Plymouth from South Bend, Mishawaka, Warsaw, Rochester, Valparaiso, and beyond, for quiet airspace, a modern Cessna 172 fleet, a Piper Seneca for multi-engine work, and instruction that never treats a student like a number.

Pair the certificate with an instrument rating and a CFI certificate, and you leave Plymouth with everything the first job requires.
